How to deliver your Mobility Scooter

When you are looking at buying a mobility scooter like anything that isnt necessarily that cheap there are lots of things to take into consideration.

For instance

1) Charging time.
2) Useage in minutes or miles.
3) Model ie comfort specifications.
4) Age of the scooter.
5) Budget.
6) Transportation.
7) function – does it do what you need it to do
8) Does it need to be roadworthy or not

These are just a few of many things to consider when buying. There is also a very big second hand market for this type of equipment. Local papers, Ebay or gumtree have an abundance of second hand mobility scooters for sale, some of which have had very little use and are in excellent condition.

The issue can be when buying these is getting them home after purchasing, retailers may have a delivery service that they use though if you buy from an individual the chances are you or someone you know will have to collect it for you.

If you find yourself in the position of wanting to buy one yet have no idea how you are going to get it home or you dont have the vehicle avaliable to transport it yourself, or its to far away for you sensibly collect it yourself there are options avbaliable to you.

At www.cheapebaycouriers we have vans collecting mobility scooters every week, we have ramps so we can in effect drive them straight on and secure them in the vehicle with a combination of staprs, ties and blankets. It means the scooters dont need to be broken down and when they are delivered to you we can wheel the straight off of the van to where you want it left.

If you think this is going to cost the earth you are wrong, give us a call on 0800 917 7084 or use the contact form for a quote add this to the price of buying your sccoter and I bet you will still be saving lots rather than buying a brand new one.
